ER, American television medical drama that aired on NBC from 1994 to 2009. The show, created by best-selling novelist Michael Crichton and producer John Wells, was one of the highest-rated programs on television. ER centred on the emergency room doctors, nurses, and staff of County General Hospital, a fictional level-one trauma centre in Chicago.
What happened to 'ER'?Episodes are currently unavailable. In the meantime, favorite this show to stay up to date. NBC's celebrated medical drama "ER" debuted in the fall of 1994 and aired its series finale 15 seasons later. Along the way, "ER" helped launch the careers of George Clooney, Julianna Margulies and Noah Wyle among many others.
Why is er so bad?Unfortunately in recent years, ER has declined in quality due to the departure of key characters, poor story lines and dull ideas, of which accounted for the decrease in viewing figures.
Is Er getting boring and stale?ER is currently in its 14th season and whilst it is somewhat of an impressive feat, many of the original cast have gone and yet it can be argued that in reference to the current season the show has gradually become boring and stale, the longer it has gone on. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end- and ER perhaps is no exception.
