JNU has become India’s First University to offer foreign language courses within its integrated MA Program. At the international level, JNU has been ranked among the top 10 Indian Universities by QS World University rankings. JNU has signed MoUs with 71 universities around the world for academic collaboration and exchange programs.

Admission to JNU is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Level Entrance Examination. For Selection in Ph. D. through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, candidates are called for viva voce and final merit list is made with 70% weightage to CBT score and 30% weightage to Viva voce.
