What can the problem be Thanks 1st and 2nd gear are on the same selector rail and if you cannot move the gear lever across the slot that means that the selector rail has not been correctly positioned and the interlocking pin between the rails is not allowing them to move . I suggest that you remove the gear lever turret from the top of the box and see where the selector levers are . With your problem then one rail should be out of alignment with the slot of the other gears .If you have had the box apart then the problem is in the fitment of the selector rails.
