I'm currently using Eagle v5.11.0, but, hopefully, the same steps are applicable also in v6.2... To delete all traces, perform the following steps: 1) click "Ripup" icon. 2) click "Group" icon. 3) mark the area you'd like to delete all traces within (whole PCB in this your particular case)

How To Delete An Orphaned Trace - EAGLE User Chat (English
https://community.element14.com/products/eagle/f/eagle-user-chat-english/12289/how-to-delete-an-orphaned-trace
The problem is the traces are "routed" in a sense. For. example, it I delete a component, the traces to that component are. not. ripped up. So, these orphaned traces are still connected to the. proper net. A Ratsnest command doesn't show them and they are still on the top. or. bottom layer. It can also happen if I don't fully ripup a trace and ...

pcb - getting rid of little air wires in Eagle
https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/274129/getting-rid-of-little-air-wires-in-eagle
But Eagle says I have 23 air wires left. It turns out they are little tiny ones, e.g. where traces overlap, like this one: There is a tiny yellow dot where the two traces overlap pointed to by the arrow. Is there a way to join these traces together to eliminate this? Or do I have to delete one trace, and extend the other one? Reviews: 7

Adjusting the Size of Traces in Autodesk Eagle
https://toglefritz.com/adjusting-the-size-of-traces-in-autodesk-eagle/
Sep 10, 2019 . You will also notice that the trace width, drill size, and clearance values for the default net class are all zero. This is because, when you route your PCB, whether you are manually routing the board or using the autorounter, Eagle will set the trace width to be the larger value between the net class and the DRC. So, by setting the default trace width to zero, the …

Reroute existing wires with autorouter eagle - Electrical
https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/167675/reroute-existing-wires-with-autorouter-eagle
May 02, 2015 . I believe you can type ripup net (where net is the name of the net you want to remove). You can select a group of traces with the group tool and then select the rip up tool, right click on the group and select Group: Rip Up.... This will remove only the selected traces. So if you move an IC, you can group all the traces around that IC and rip them up.

May 06, 2021 . system August 3, 2009, 2:48pm #6. It seems the solution was to delete every segment attached to the relevant nets and rewire the affected pins. It seems that Eagle forgets a net name once all its segments have been deleted. Still wish there were a better way, but if there is I can't for the life of me find it. macegr August 3, 2009, 5:11pm #7.

Ripping Up Traces Much like the WIRE tool isn't actually used to make wires, the DELETE tool can't actually be used to delete traces. If you need to go back and re-work a route, use the RIPUP tool -- -- to remove traces. This tool turns routed traces back into airwires. You can also use UNDO and REDO to back/forward-track.
