It specifies what the subordinate must do to reach the goals set during the counseling session. The plan of action must be specific: it should show the subordinate how to modify or maintain his behavior.
What should I include in my initial counseling?In your initial counseling ensure the following actions are taken as directed by Army Regulation: Ensure a copy of the regulation is made available to the Soldier. Perhaps include the web address to the publication on the official Army Publishing site as part of your written counseling.
