C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery exture When you fire up FSX, it will automatically find the new scenery and activate it. If you are already running, navigate to the scenery library and click OK. The program will present the new scenery.
Is there an add on which can improve textures/scenery of FSX?I am looking for an add on which can improve textures/scenery of fsx. I don't want anything too expensive but just something that would improve the overall look of the FSX Scenery. Many thanks for any help! FreeMesh is free, er, mesh. That will certainly improve things. FTX Global and Vector with other FTX environment add ons.
How do I add a name to my scenery area?You can add a name for your scenery area, but this is not needed. Both Flight Simulator X and Flight Simulator X Steam Edition will automatically take the name of the folder for an area name as shown above. If you have done everything correctly, then you will see the scenery area name in the window as above. Click OK to continue.
How do I install addon scenery?If your addon scenery contains a few .bgl files, refer to method one. If it contains a scenery and texture folder, refer to method two. If the download is an executable file (.exe), run the installation file, and the scenery will be installed automatically.
